Maker Camp

This is the first year BridgeValley is hosting a Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs manufacturing camp. The camp is entitled "BridgeValley Maker Camp."  Campers will design and build a product experiencing the start to finish satisfaction of creating something they can show off with pride. Throughout the process, they will learn how to do CAD design and operate various kinds of manufacturing machinery under the close supervision of expert manufacturing and information technology trainers.  Registration will open soon!

  • What: The BridgeValley Maker Camp will introduce middle- and high-school students to the fascinating, high-tech career choices available to them in today’s automated manufacturing industry.
  • When:  July 16th to July 20th
  • Who: Students from 12 to 16 years old
  • Cost: $100.  Registration for this camp is supported by a grant from the NBT Foundation. Registration includes a 5 day camp experience and a camp t-shirt. Plus each attendee will keep what they "make." Work with 3D software and printers and Raspberry Pi 3s with camera boards. Space is limited to 20 students.
